The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has approved that the following sections in the “Construction, Operation and Transfer of the Ankara-Niğde Motorway Project with the Build-Operate-Transfer Model ” Work be opened to traffic:
1- This section of the motorway shall be opened to traffic on September 4th, 2020, atTime: 23:59.
2- It is prohibited from entering and exiting a motorway other than the designated places (interchanges, Toll Stations, etc.) and certain conditions. As wire fences or walls erected along the boundary lines of highway serve as a barrier against such entries and exits, it is prohibited from opening, demolishing, cutting these barriers and destroying them in another way.
3- Pedestrians, animals, non-motorized vehicles, rubber-tired tractors, construction vehicles and cyclists are not allowed to enter the section opened to traffic as an Access Controlled Highway.
4- At this section, minimum speed is 40 km/h and the maximum speed is the speed limit allowed by geometrical standards, (Max. speed 120 km/h)
5- It is prohibited from stopping, parking, reverse maneuvering and reverse driving at this section and the intersections opened to traffic as an Access Controlled Highway. In compulsory situations,vehicles may be stop in the rightmost emergency lane (shoulder).
6- Organizations wishing to install nameplates on the front of their businesses facing motorway must obtain a permit from the General Directorate of Highways and the Appointed Company.
7- The Appointed Company, the contractor, shall carry out under the contract the construction, maintenance, and operation of the following sections in the “Construction, Operation and Transfer of the Ankara-Niğde Motorway Project with the Build-Operate-Transfer Model ” Work:
• Ankara-Acıkuyu Interchange (Km: 0+000-105+227) section; and
• Alayhan Interchange -Gölcük Interchange (Km: 218+250-275+048) section.
