Minimum speed is 40 km/h and maximum speed is 140 km/h for passenger vehicles except for the limits allowed by geometrical standards and the limits shown on the relevant traffic signs based on the Ministry of Internal Affairs Letter no 23635644.249-31129 of 02/06/2022.

Pedestrians, animals, bicycles, non-motorized vehicles, rubber- tired tractors, constraction vehicle are not allowed to use the motorway.

It should be made sure that the vehicle has Fast-Pass System (HGS) and there is sufficient balance in the account. There should always be sufficient balance against the possibility of the balance becoming insufficient due to other toll passes. It is recommended granting direct deposit orders to your tag provider so that tolls are paid without any problems.

Make sure that the HGS tag of your device is properly placed on the windshield of the vehicle, that the device or tag is installed in the correct area for reading, and that the HGS tag of the device is active.

License plate should be clean and readable.

An HGS belonging to a different vehicle class or license plate should not be used

It is dangerous and not allowed to reverse maneuver at toll stations. This may lead to the repeated toll collections. You should complete your transactions in your current toll lane for motorway safety and avoiding toll difference.

Entry and exit toll stations are fitted with barriers. Slow down and do not pass until the barrier opens. Otherwise, damage to vehicle and barrier may occur.

Violated Pass late payment penalty is applied as a fine 1 time the toll amount in the period from the 15th day until the 45th day following the pass and as a fine 4 (four) times the toll amount plus the regular toll in the period after the 45th day and legal actions may be taken for the pass on all state roads, toll bridges and private toll roads, as specified in article 30/5 of the Law on the Organization and Functions of the General Directorate of Highways.

There is a ticket vending machine at all of our toll stations. In this case, you can press the button on the ticket vending machine and purchase your ticket and enter the motorway. The ticket will contain details like your license plate, entry toll lane code, date and time, etc. At exit, you must enter a cash toll lane and pay with Credit Card and Debit Card / in Cash. If the problem continues, you should change your HGS tag.

Tolls are calculated by distance on the motorway. Barriers are placed to allow those who will pay in cash purchase a ticket at motorway entry and, if those HGS users have problem with their tags, pass by purchasing a ticket. Barriers are placed at exits particularly to ensure controlled passes through cash toll lanes and, if, in HGS toll lanes, there are problems with the tags or there is insufficient balance in the account, prevent drivers from being subject to pass violation.

Your HGS tag being readable at motorway passes

Your HGS tag being readable at motorway passes does not mean that toll is collected. If there is not sufficient balance in your account and toll cannot be collected during the pass, barrier may not open, and you may have to pay in Cash or with Credit Card/Debit Card at the toll station.

HGS tag

Despite having the HGS tag, it is possible for vehicle owners to have technical problems / malfunctions on their tags, as well as collection problems due to insufficient balance. Those users who have such problems should first contact their bank and check their orders and accounts or change their HGS tags. If you do not have an HGS tag, purchasing an HGS compatible with your vehicle class will facilitate pass at toll stations.

Barrier system at our toll lanes

As a barrier system will be in place at our toll anes, barriers should be approached at a speed (20 km/h) to come to a complete stop in entry and exit lanes. Drivers will be responsible for any damages to entry and exit lanes ue to non-cmpliance with the rules.

Changing lanes after entering the entry lane

Changing lanes after entering the entry lane and attempting to enter another lane by reverse maneuver may lead to repeated collection, your vehicle class being detected differently and your pass taking longer time. Please do not leave your lane until your turn comes.

Motorcycle groups passing without any problems

For motorcycle groups to pass without any problems, they are recommended to enter toll lanes through cash toll lanes in order and paying one by one in cash exit lane.

All towed trailers

Registering all trailer plates working in connection with the tractors in the system and connecting them to the relevant HGS account will provide ease of use for you. Banks and PTT create separate virtual accounts for trailer license plates for registry. This way, your tolls that are not withdrawn from the account of the tractor plates are collected from your defined sub-account for the trailer plate.

As the amount you deposit in your HGS account to pay your (unpaid) violated pass violation debt on the last day may not be collected because of being deposited after automatic collection query for that day and thus not being collected the same day, or the amount you deposit may be collected for your another toll amount or for covering your debt, pass (unpaid) violated pass debt payments of the HGS account should be completed earlier than final date. If payment is to be made on the final date, it must be made by selecting “Pay” option following the query to be made on this page or via the Ankara-Niğde Motorway Mobile App.

According to the law, the driver’s T.R. Identification Number or tax identification number can only be retrieved after 15 days of pass violation (when late payment period begins). Therefore, only the debts outstanding for more than 15 days and to be paid with late payment penalties can be viewed in queries with T.R Identification number or tax identification number. Some passes may not be displayed in the queries made with citizenship number and/or tax identification number although they are displayed in the queries made with license plate. It is a priority for you to access the latest and current debt information regarding the Violated Passes by entering your license plate number on our website, and it is important to continue the License Plate based query so that your pass violtaions are not penalized. Therefore, it is required to make a query with License Plate Number or Violated Pass Notification (VPN) Number separately to view debts.

After debt records are reviewed and confirmed from our side, the debt can be viewed through İş Bankası, our website and Mobile App. If a query fails to retrieve the debt , then either the query has not been completed yet according to the date and time of the query or your debt has been collected through your Fast-Pass System (HGS) account, if any. For this reason, we recommend that you follow up your debt primarily through our website and Mobile Application on different days within 15 days following the pass.

Debt payments can be made via İş Bankası branch offices, İş Bankası Internet banking systems, and via www.ankaranigdeotoyolu.com by choosing the “Pay“ option following violated pass violation or by downloading Ankara-Niğde Motorway (ANM) Mobile App on your phones. If there is an old HGS tag account registered to your vehicle or a new HGS tag account opened within 15 days following the transition date, the toll fee will be automatically collected from any of these accounts within the grace period. However, automatic collection failure will not remove the vehicle owner's responsibility for the payment, and in such a case, no liability can be attributed to ERG Otoyol Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. Please note that all your HGS accounts, including your HGS tag obtained from PTT, must have a deposit account linked to the tag account, an overdraft account or an automatic payment order issued over a credit card with a sufficient limit, in order to avoid any problems.

Payments made to any other bank or accounts other than the “Ankara-Niğde Motorway” or “ERG Otoyol Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş.” account at İş Bankası branches are invalid.

Barriers will be placed at all toll stations on the Ankara-Niğde Motorway. For electronic passes, the amount will be collected immediately only for the vehicles having sufficient balance to collect the toll amount and the barrier will open automatically. In cases where electronic pass amount cannot be collected, you can pay with Cash or with Debit Card/Credit Card at the exit toll stations. In case the payment cannot be made for any reason, a violated pass notification (VPN) voucher must be received and payment should be made within 15 days.
